New Years Eve 2011

This year we were able to get some amazing friends together and have a fun night celebrating the new year. We started out a little early by having dinner at the good old Parowan Cafe.


Then headed up the mountain to have a fun time watching the Brian Head torch run and firework show!


Then we of course needed some ice cream, so we headed on over to the Krave to have some frozen yogurt. Yum Yum!!! Then the night was still young so we headed over to Alex and Harmony's house for a fun night of games and goodies! We had so much fun hanging out with all of our wonderful friends, you guys are all amazing!

End of 2011

As the year comes to an end, I just want to say how grateful I am for all that we have.
This year had its challenges, as all years do but I am so grateful that we were able to work through them and get to where we are today.
This year Chris started a new position with Rolling Rubber as the Manager, and has been very busy. I think he enjoys doing what he does, but I know it can be stressful at times.
Together this year we built a new home that we are in love with. We are so blessed to be able to have a roof over our heads, and to have a place we call home!
And most recently I have taken a new opportunity with Mountain America Credit Union. I will be starting Jan 9th and am excited for this new journey.
I am so excited to see what 2012 will bring for the two of us! Hopefully it will be amazing :)

Family Reunion

This past weekend was our annual "Scott Story Family Reunion", it was so much fun. We always start off the day with a good lunch (Cafe Rio this year) and then head on over to Rice Eccles Stadium to watch a U of U football game. This year we went to the Arizona State game, even though they lost it was still a fun game. I only have a few pictures:

After the game we went and had a yummy dinner at Goodwood Barbecue, it was very delicious!

After dinner we decided it was way to early to end the day so we all headed to the bowling alley to show off our skills! As you can see we all totally rock at bowling ;-)

Then of course we had to reward ourselves for our awesome games with some ice-cream :-), so Cristan suggested her favorite place "LEATHERBY'S" and it was a so much fun and pretty tastey! It was great just hanging out and visiting with each other.

I love hanging out with my family, and I am so greatful for them and the fun times that we get to share!

New House

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...house is finished:) Now for all the packing and moving. Not the funnest part of the process! Although it will all be worth the hard work.
I am looking forward to finally relaxing and watching TV in this room...

















And sleeping in this amazing room...

I am so happy with the way it has all turned out and can't wait to call this my "HOME"

"STRESS"

Who knew building a house could be so "STRESSFUL". I am so ready for this process to be complete. I am loving the progress and can't wait to see the finished product. Hopefully I will be posting the beautiful pictures of the new house soon.
